Takamine is a biopic about Dr. Jokichi Takamine, the late biochemist known for successfully crystallizing and isolating adrenaline, which is also called epinephrine. Dubbed the father of modern biotechnology, Takamine also produced Takadiastase, a digestive enzyme still used as an ingredient in medicines.
