I.S.S.

I.S.S. is a 2023 American science fiction thriller film directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite and written by Nick Shafir. The film stars Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, John Gallagher Jr., Masha Mashkova, Costa Ronin, and Pilou Asbæk. The film follows two groups aboard the International Space Station—one of American astronauts and the other of Russian cosmonauts—who fight each other for the control of the station after a war starts between their countries. I.S.S. premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, and was theatrically released in the United States on January 19, 2024, by Bleecker Street. The film received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $6.6 million.
