In March 1892, the residents commenced the construction of a new school themselves and the Queensland Government agreed to contribute £37 to complete the building. It was renamed Wolffdene Provisional School. On 1 January 1909, it became Wolffdene State School. It closed in 1935 but re-opened 15 February 1939.

Why this record matters
A short description can identify a subject without explaining its stakes. For “Wolffdene, Queensland”, the useful work is to connect “locality in Queensland, Australia” to the records capable of establishing context and consequence.
Named sources, stable identifiers and responsible institutions provide the strongest route from overview to verifiable evidence. The source revision retrieved here is dated Mar 18, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q16903611. Authority coordinates are -27.781, 153.174. 1 of 1 selected statements include explicit references; 0 carry qualifiers and 0 use preferred rank. The first chronological checks are 2021, 1874, 1891 and 1892.
The absence of detail may reflect summary conventions rather than a lack of surviving documentation. The lead is largely declarative, so disagreement and counter-evidence require a deliberate search beyond the opening account. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.
