Source-derived summary

Neve Yamin (Hebrew: נְוֵה יָמִין, lit. 'Abode of the right (hand of God)') is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Kfar Saba and covering 3,300 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2024 it had a population of 1,377.

History

The moshav was formed in 1950 by Jewish immigrants from Greece, Iraq, Persia and North Africa on land near the Palestinian village of Kafr Saba, which was depopulated in May 1948.

Its name is derived from the bible: "The right hand of God is lifted high." (Psalm 118:15).

Editorial summary

This brief starts where responsible research should: with the source description of “Neve Yamin” as human settlement in Israel. Everything that follows is an evidence route, not borrowed authority.

Editorial reviewA practical starting point whose main value is the path it opens into stronger specialist and primary sources. Editorial analysis

Why this record matters

The subject matters to the general reference register because the source frames it as human settlement in Israel. Its deeper value depends on whether names, dates, institutions and citations support that framing.

Evidence profile

Vocabulary and entity names are the principal evidence signals here, because they determine the precision of every later search. The source revision retrieved here is dated Sep 12, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q2916635. Authority coordinates are 32.171, 34.938. 2 of 3 selected statements include explicit references; 0 carry qualifiers and 0 use preferred rank. The first chronological checks are 2024, 1950 and 1948.

Critical limits

A concise general-reference account can conceal disagreements about scope, terminology or the weight assigned to individual sources. The source lead contains qualifying language; that uncertainty should survive quotation, summary and reuse. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.
