Why this record matters
“Kōnosu” is worth following because a concise public description often conceals a longer documentary argument. Here, Kōnosu, city and Saitama provides the most credible route into that argument.
The strongest evidence will usually combine a dated visual record with documents produced by the authority responsible for the place. The source revision retrieved here is dated Sep 17, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q734541. VIAF identifies the subject as 254408913. The Library of Congress control number is n82081241. Authority coordinates are 36.066, 139.522. 3 of 8 selected statements include explicit references; 2 carry qualifiers and 1 use preferred rank. The first chronological checks are 2021, 1700, 1335 and 1889.
A single description cannot reconcile every naming convention, rebuilding phase or administrative transfer associated with a place. The source lead contains qualifying language; that uncertainty should survive quotation, summary and reuse. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.
