Hrušov (Hungarian: Körtvélyes) is a village and municipality in the Rožňava District in the Košice Region of middle-eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1285. Before the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918, Hrušov was part of Abaúj-Torna County within the Kingdom of Hungary. From 1938 to 1945, it was again part of Hungary as a result of the First Vienna Award.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 232 metres (761 ft) and covers an area of 16.78 km2 (6.48 sq mi) (2025).
Population
It has a population of 323 people (31 December 2025).

In year 2021 was 335 people by ethnicity 271 as Hungarian, 71 as Slovak, 4 as Not found out, 2 as Romani, 1 as Czech and 1 as Polish.
