The series was created by David Schulner and stars Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims, Anupam Kher, Tyler Labine and Sandra Mae Frank.

During the course of the series, 89 episodes of New Amsterdam aired over five seasons, between September 25, 2018, and January 17, 2023.
