Ebar Shabor (2015)
This film is based on 'Rwin' by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. A police detective Shabor Dasgupta (Saswata Chatterjee) is entrusted with the daunting task of solving the mystery surrounding the murder of Mitali Ghosh (Swastika Mukherjee), a woman with a messy past, who was killed on the night she had thrown a party for friends and family. The task is daunting for Shabor because of the number of people involved. Mitali was once married to Mithu Mitra (Abir Chatterjee), whom she divorced before settling overseas. Though she soon realised how much she loved him, her ego kept her from coming back to him.
“Goenda Shabor” enters the record as film directed by Arindam Sil. Crown Archives preserves that source wording while asking what Goenda, Shabor and film can confirm, complicate or overturn.
Why this record matters
“Goenda Shabor” is worth following because a concise public description often conceals a longer documentary argument. Here, Goenda, Shabor and film provides the most credible route into that argument.
Object files, edition statements, performance records and contemporary criticism preserve different stages of the work’s history. The source revision retrieved here is dated Apr 24, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q39074210. None of the 0 selected statements returned an explicit reference. The first chronological checks are 2015, 2016 and 2018.
Rights, attribution and provenance may remain disputed even when a general reference summary presents a stable account. The lead is largely declarative, so disagreement and counter-evidence require a deliberate search beyond the opening account. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.
