Source-derived summary

Espanto Jr. (born March 26, 1986) is a Mexican professional wrestler working for the Mexican promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where he is a member of the La Ola Negra stable. He portrays a rudo ("bad guy") wrestling character. Espanto Jr.'s real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico, where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans.

He is the son of the original Espanto Jr., Jesús Andrade Salas, and is a part of an extensive wrestling family that started with his grandfather Jose Andrade, better known as "El Moro". At least nine of his uncles are professional wrestlers, including his cousin, Manuel Andrade, best known as Andrade. Espanto Jr. made his professional wrestling debut in 2001 at the age of only 15, originally working under the ring name "Moro Jr." after his grandfather, later taking the name "Hijo del Pentagón" after his father, who portrayed the original Pentagón. In CMLL, he is a one-time CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Champion with Akuma.

Editorial analysis

Why this record matters

“Espanto Jr. (CMLL)” is worth following because a concise public description often conceals a longer documentary argument. Here, Espanto, CMLL and Masked provides the most credible route into that argument.

Evidence profile

Named sources, stable identifiers and responsible institutions provide the strongest route from overview to verifiable evidence. The source revision retrieved here is dated Sep 8, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q16209528. 1 of 1 selected statements include explicit references; 0 carry qualifiers and 0 use preferred rank. The first chronological checks are 1986 and 2001.

Critical limits

A concise general-reference account can conceal disagreements about scope, terminology or the weight assigned to individual sources. The lead is largely declarative, so disagreement and counter-evidence require a deliberate search beyond the opening account. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.

How to read it
