Source-derived summary

Cyclophyllum multiflorum is a species of plants in the family Rubiaceae found only in northeastern Queensland, Australia. It is a small tree up to 10 m (33 ft) tall with simple leaves arranged in opposite pairs. The inflorescence is a cyme with (usually) 6–9 tubular flowers about 13 mm (0.5 in) long and about 8 mm (0.31 in) wide at the apex. It is endemic to Queensland and occurs from around Rossville south to around Mount Elliot. It grows in both rainforest and wet sclerophyll forests, often alongside creeks and swamps, at altitudes from near sea level to about 1,120 m (3,670 ft). It was first described by Australian botanists Sally T. Reynolds and Rodney John Francis Henderson in 2001.

Editorial summary

“Cyclophyllum multiflorum” enters the record as species of plant in the family Rubiaceae. Crown Archives preserves that source wording while asking what Cyclophyllum, multiflorum and species can confirm, complicate or overturn.

Editorial reviewA sound reference starting point where classification, measurement and the date of the underlying evidence remain visible. The current lead gives the account dated anchors—2001—that can be checked directly. The selected authority fields contribute no independent date. Its strongest next move is a source search built around Cyclophyllum, multiflorum and species.
Editorial analysis

Why this record matters

“Cyclophyllum multiflorum” is worth following because a concise public description often conceals a longer documentary argument. Here, Cyclophyllum, multiflorum and species provides the most credible route into that argument.

Evidence profile

Stable identifiers, scientific names and standards terminology offer the best bridge between this overview and specialist evidence. The source revision retrieved here is dated Oct 1, 2025. The linked authority identifier is Q15437162. None of the 0 selected statements returned an explicit reference. The first chronological checks are 2001.

Critical limits

Scientific names, classifications and consensus can change while older terminology persists in catalogues and historical literature. The lead is largely declarative, so disagreement and counter-evidence require a deliberate search beyond the opening account. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.

How to read it

Check terminology, classification and the date of the cited evidence. Scientific names and technical consensus can change while older records retain historical value.
