Begin with the source’s own compact description: “Bovolone” is italian comune. The dossier treats that line as a proposition to test through Bovolone, Italian and comune, not as a finished interpretation.
Why this record matters
The phrase “italian comune” supplies a clear boundary for inquiry. It also exposes the unanswered questions: who defined that boundary, when it became stable and which sources sit outside it.
The citation trail is more important than the brevity of the summary: it shows where individual claims can be examined in context. The source revision retrieved here is dated Sep 14, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q47382. VIAF identifies the subject as 242275787. Authority coordinates are 45.250, 11.133. 3 of 3 selected statements include explicit references; 0 carry qualifiers and 0 use preferred rank. The first chronological checks are 1991 and 2008.
A concise general-reference account can conceal disagreements about scope, terminology or the weight assigned to individual sources. The lead is largely declarative, so disagreement and counter-evidence require a deliberate search beyond the opening account. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.
