As of 2011 India census, Boudhgarh had a population of 20,424, with 52% males and 48% females. Boudhgarh has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 58% of the males and 42% of females literate. 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Politics
Current MLA from Boudh Assembly constituency is Saroj Kumar Pradhan of BJP. Former MLA Pradip Kumar Amat of BJD was the Speaker in Odisha Legislative Assembly from 2009 - 2014. He was also the former finance minister of Odisha. He won the seat in State elections of 2019, 2014, 2009 and 2004.
