2026 Copa Bolivia
football tournament season

The 2026 Copa Bolivia, known as the 2026 Copa Paceña for sponsorship purposes, is the third edition of the Copa Bolivia, Bolivia's football league cup competition, which is contested by the 16 teams that take part in the FBF División Profesional in its 2026 season. The competition began on 18 August and is scheduled to end on 2 December 2026.
Nacional Potosí are the defending champions.
Format
The competition, which will be played on weekdays, will feature four stages: a group stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals. In the group stage, the 16 participating teams were drawn into four groups and will play 8 matches, two against each one of their group rivals, as well as two against their derby rival (which was drawn into a different group).
The four group winners and runners-up will advance to the knockout rounds, all of which will be played over two legs. In the quarter-finals, the teams qualifying from Group A will play the ones coming from Group D whilst the teams advancing from Group B will face the ones from Group C. The winning sides will advance to the semi-finals, and the two semi-final winners will eventually play the final, with the champions being awarded the Bolivia 3 berth into the 2027 Copa Libertadores and the runners-up qualifying for the 2027 Copa Sudamericana as Bolivia 1.
Unlike the previous edition of the competition, no interzonal matches other than the derbies nor additional play-off rounds will be played.
Draw
The draw for the competition was held on 22 July 2026 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The 16 teams were drawn into four groups of four teams, with regional rivals being allocated to different groups.

Vocabulary and entity names are the principal evidence signals here, because they determine the precision of every later search. The source revision retrieved here is dated Sep 23, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q140670026. None of the 0 selected statements returned an explicit reference. The first chronological checks are 2026 and 2027.
The absence of detail may reflect summary conventions rather than a lack of surviving documentation. The lead is largely declarative, so disagreement and counter-evidence require a deliberate search beyond the opening account. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.
