The 2026–27 Los Angeles Kings season will be the 60th season (59th season of play) for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on June 5, 1967.
This is the first time since the 2005–06 season that Anze Kopitar will not be on the roster as he announced his retirement at the end the 2025–26 season along with former LA Kings goalie Jonathan Quick that similarly announced his retirement from his NHL career after the end of the 2025–26 season.
