2026–27 Bengaluru FC season
14th season in the existence of Bengaluru FC

The 2026–27 season is Bengaluru FC's 14th season as a professional football club since its establishment in 2013 and 9th season in the Indian Super League. It runs from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027 with participation in the Indian Super League and Super Cup.
Bengaluru began their month long pre-season training in late July at Ballari's Inspire Institute of Sport. Head coach Pep Muñoz's camp was joined by four new foreign signings during the training.
Background
In the truncated previous season, the Blues had a positive start to their ISL campaign with four wins in seven games, losing just once under the helm of Renedy Singh. The former India international had taken charge of the first team post departure of Gerard Zaragoza, who parted ways after Bengaluru failed to make it past the group stage of Super Cup and owing to uncertainty of the league's commencement. However, the Blues would eventually lose the momentum after a mid-season change in staff with Renedy making way for Pep Muñoz. With just two wins in their remaining six games, Bengaluru finished fourth in the truncated single-round-robin league.
In an unfortunate incident, former Bengaluru FC player Yrondu Musavu-King who had represented the club in the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons, passed away on 5 June 2026 aged 34. The club and its supporters mourned the loss.

The citation trail is more important than the brevity of the summary: it shows where individual claims can be examined in context. The source revision retrieved here is dated Sep 25, 2026. The linked authority identifier is Q141191563. None of the 0 selected statements returned an explicit reference. The first chronological checks are 2026, 2013, 2027 and 2020.
A concise general-reference account can conceal disagreements about scope, terminology or the weight assigned to individual sources. The source lead contains qualifying language; that uncertainty should survive quotation, summary and reuse. Authority statements aid reconciliation but still require their own references, qualifiers and ranks to be checked.
