The 2009–10 season is Stockport County's 128th season in football, and their second in League One since gaining promotion via the League Two play-offs in 2008. Stockport completed the whole season in administration. This season ran from 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010.
Gary Ablett was named manager for the whole season after his predecessor Jim Gannon was made redundant in May 2009.
